Belmond Casa de Sierra Nevada is located in the heart of San Miguel de Allende and is approximately 75–90 minute drive from Querétaro Intercontinental Airport (QRO), the nearest airport. Querétaro offers convenient domestic and international connections, including direct flights from several major U.S. cities.
While transportation to and from the airport is not coordinated by Kindred, we’ll share a trusted third-party transfer option via email ahead of the event for a seamless arrival and departure experience.
A dedicated booking link with exclusive, preferred rates will be shared with attendees via email.
Kindred is designed to be experienced beyond the schedule, we recommend arriving early or staying a bit longer to fully settle in and connect.
Attire guidance including Pinterest boards will be shared closer to the event date
The The Dunlin, Auberge Resorts Collection is where coastal calm, soft natural light, and beautifully considered design come together in a way that feels both refined and deeply restorative. We will be taking over the entire property for a full buyout, gathering in an extended format that creates a slower, more spacious experience with room for the in between moments, relaxed connection, and the kind of ease that comes from warm weather, intentional surroundings, and time to truly settle in together.

The Dunlin, Auberge Resorts Collection is located on Johns Island, just outside of Charleston, South Carolina, and is approximately 45–60 minute drive from Charleston International Airport(CHS), the nearest airport. Charleston offers convenient domestic connections, with direct flights from many major U.S. cities.
While transportation to and from the airport is not coordinated by Kindred, we’ll share a trusted third-party transfer option via email ahead of the event for a seamless arrival and departure experience.

Kindred is invite-only and intentionally capped at 100 attendees—about 50 planners and 50 photographers or cinematographers.
If you’re interested in attending, you must fill out the interest form for each event. From there, Erin and Rebecca personally review every submission and use a thoughtful, multi-faceted process to curate the guest list. A “no” often means “not now” or “not yet”. There are no keynote speakers. Everyone in attendance is qualified to teach, which allows us to create an environment rooted in learning, connection, and deeper conversations from across the table.
Each attendee, once they are invited and have RSVPed with their “yes,” is encouraged to schedule a 20-minute review call with Rebecca, one of our founders, before the event. This is an opportunity for you to share more about you and your business, and to help us curate your introductions to fit your personal and business goals.
Lodging is not included, but we host Kindred at locations known for luxury accommodations that are typically available on site. We will email room block information — available at an exclusive rate — for the selected location to attendees after registration.
After we review each application (we receive thousands), we will often send digital and physical invitations to the selected attendees. You can expect this in the early summer of each year. We simply ask that you RSVP upon receipt so that we may provide attendance opportunities to others on our waitlist if you are unable to join.
Hearing this will always fill our hearts because this experience helps us meet people who feel like family. In full transparency, we strive to thoughtfully invite repeat guests in addition to new faces to ensure a fresh and dynamic atmosphere. Please re-apply between January and June to ensure you are on the list for our next application review. For each and every event, the people we invite to break bread with us are selected for that specific time in the industry.
If you register for an event and are unable to attend for any reason, please provide written notice to connect@kindredcollectivewed.com. For details on refunds and ticket transfers, see the full terms and conditions.
